Parlamentul României adoptă prezenta lege.

Art. 1 - Se înființează Universitatea „loan Slavici” din Timișoara, ca instituție

de învățământ superior, persoană juridică de drept privat și de utilitate publică, parte a sistemului național de învățământ, cu sediul în județul Timiș, localitatea Timișoara,

strada Profesor Doctor Aurel Păunescu Podeanu nr. 144, cod poștal 300587.

Art. 2 - Universitatea „loan Slavici” din Timișoara are în componență:

a) Facultatea de Științe Economice cu programele de studii universitare de licență: e Finanțe și bănci, forma de învățământ cu frecvență, cu predare în limba română; e Contabilitate și informatică de gestiune, forma de învățământ
