Parlamentul României adoptă prezenta lege:

CAPITOLUL 1

Dispoziții generale

Art. 1. — Obiectul reglementării —

(1) Prezenta lege instituie conturile individuale de investiții pentru pensie, denumit în continuare CIIP, drept instrument voluntar de economisire individuală pentru asigurarea unui venit suplimentar distinct de pensie, după deschiderea drepturilor de pensie.

(2) Conturile CIIP sunt conturi speciale deschise la societăți de servicii de investiții financiare, denumite în continuare SSIF, astfel cum sunt reglementate de Legea nr. 126/2018 privind piețele de instrumente financiare, cu modificările și completările ul
